Hey {{first name | reader}},

Happy Wednesday!

Welcome back to Where to Go Wednesday, your weekly reminder to stop procrastinating your trips and actually make them happen.

This week, we are looking at Seoul.

Seoul is a city that more travelers should have higher on their list. Amazing food, great hotels, shopping, skincare, coffee culture, history, palaces, nightlife, and one of the best big-city energies in Asia. It also works really well as part of a larger Asia trip. You can pair it with Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, or Thailand, or use it as a stop before continuing somewhere else.

This week there are two luxury hotel offers in Seoul worth knowing about, plus a Finnair Avios sale that could be useful if the timing works for you.

Here's what's inside today's post:

  • Finnair Plus Avios are on sale

  • Conrad Seoul: Stay 3, Pay 2

  • Four Seasons Hotel Seoul: up to 20% off with Preferred Partner perks

Finnair Plus Avios are on sale

Finnair Plus is currently selling Avios with up to a 40% discount, and this is a short one: the sale runs till tomorrow, June 18, 2026.

The discount structure:

  • Buy 5,000 to 19,000 Avios: 25% discount

  • Buy 20,000 to 49,000 Avios: 30% discount

  • Buy 50,000 to 84,000 Avios: 35% discount

  • Buy 85,000 to 200,000 Avios: 40% discount

At the best tier, you can buy Avios for around $13 per 1,000 points. That is a good price.

Avios can be moved 1:1 between different Avios programs, including British Airways Executive Club, Qatar Airways Privilege Club, and Iberia Plus. So you could buy through Finnair and move them to whichever program has the best redemption for your trip.

Some useful places to put Avios:

  • Short-haul Oneworld flights

  • Iberia business class redemptions to Latin America

  • Qatar Airways redemptions

  • British Airways partner awards

  • Topping off an account for a specific booking you are ready to make

One thing to know: Finnair requires you to already have at least 100 Avios in your Finnair Plus account to access the offer. If your account is empty, you can transfer a small amount from any other Avios program first to qualify.

Conrad Seoul: Stay 3, Pay 2

Conrad Seoul

Now for the Seoul hotels.

Conrad Seoul is part of Hilton's luxury portfolio and sits in Yeouido, Seoul's financial district, right by the Han River. It is a very practical area: modern, with easy access to shopping, restaurants, and river views. The hotel is also connected to IFC Mall, which makes logistics very easy if you want everything in one place.

The current offer is Stay 3, Pay 2, available through December 31, 2026.

And since this is a luxury Hilton property, we can add preferred partner benefits on top:

  • VIP guest status

  • Complimentary breakfast for two guests

  • $100 hotel credit per stay

  • Double Hilton Honors points (yes, you still earn points when booking though us!)

  • Upgrade to next room category, subject to availability

For anyone looking at Seoul who wants something modern, comfortable, and logistically easy, Conrad is a very good option, especially with a third-night-free.

Four Seasons Hotel Seoul: up to 20% off with Preferred Partner perks

Four Seasons Hotel Seoul room

The second Seoul option is Four Seasons Hotel Seoul, which is probably the more polished luxury choice if you want the classic Four Seasons experience in the city.

There is an advance purchase offer with up to 20% off the room rate, valid for stays through December 31, 2026. And we can still attach Four Seasons Preferred Partner benefits to the booking:

  • Daily full breakfast for two, in the restaurant or through in-room dining

  • $100 hotel credit per stay for guest rooms

  • $200 hotel credit per stay for suites and specialty suites

  • Upgrade of one category, subject to availability at check-in

Four Seasons Seoul is located near Gwanghwamun, which works very well if you want to explore palaces, museums, traditional neighborhoods, and the more classic Seoul highlights. Compared to Gangnam, this location feels more central for first-time visitors who want to experience the city properly.

The simple comparison

Conrad Seoul: best if you want Gangnam energy, COEX, shopping, river views, and a complimentary night structure.

Four Seasons Seoul: best if you want a more refined luxury experience and a central location for sightseeing.

Either way, Seoul deserves more attention than it usually gets. Come for the food. Stay for the hotels, skincare, coffee, palaces, and the feeling that the city is somehow both extremely modern and deeply traditional at the same time.

If Seoul is on your list and you want help choosing the right hotel, just reply and we will put together the right options for your trip.

That's it for today. Finnair Avios are on sale for a pretty limited time, Seoul has two amazing luxury hotel offers, and this might be your sign to finally start planning that Korea trip.

Stop procrastinating your trips. Make them happen.

Catch you in the clouds,

Tomi from Points Master
