Hey {{first name | reader}},

Happy Friday! I'm back.

After 18 days in Europe, I'm home again, back in my routine, back at my computer, and very happy to be writing this newsletter. I missed this!

I spent the last couple of weeks traveling around Madrid and southern Spain, then on to Amsterdam, and also visiting family in Paris. It was one of those trips that gives you a bit of everything: time to slow down (though my feet had a very different experience, 20k steps a day on average 😂), time to see beautiful places, time with people you love, and of course plenty of flights, hotels, airports, lounges, and little travel details that I know I'll end up talking about here with all of you.

So today's post is just a quick note to say that I'm back, and that over the next few weeks I'll be returning to the usual mix of deals, news, and useful travel strategies. But I'll also be sharing a few standout things from this trip that I want to talk through with you.

One of them is my flight with Air Europa, which I still have mixed feelings about. Another is my flight with Air France, where I got to sit in their best seat, and honestly, one of the best business class seats in the world right now. I'm looking forward to sharing both of those.

And then there is the hotel side. There is one particular stay I want to share with you, one of those properties that feels iconic the second you walk in: Waldorf Astoria Amsterdam.

Some hotels are luxurious. Some are beautiful. Some are historic. And then once in a while, you stay somewhere that feels like it has a bit of all of that at once. Waldorf Astoria Amsterdam is very much that kind of place, and I'm looking forward to sharing more about what made the stay so memorable.

That is one of the nice things about taking a trip like this. Yes, it is a holiday. Yes, it is time away. But I come back with so many ideas for what to write, what to share, and what I think may help you plan your own trips better. Because sometimes the best travel content comes not from research alone, but from going out there, seeing things for yourself, and coming back with fresh opinions. And I love sharing my experiences!

For now, I just wanted to say hello again and let you know that it feels very good to be back. Thank you for being here and thank you for reading.

More deals, more news, and a few fun trip reviews are coming very soon. Enjoy your weekend!

It's good to be back.

Catch you in the clouds,

Tomi from Points Master
