Hey {{first name | reader}},
Happy Friday and happy Black Friday - aka the one week a year when it's socially acceptable to lose your mind over flight deals.
Today I'm only talking about business class, and I'm going to rank each deal as GOOD, GREAT, or AMAZING so you know what's truly worth getting excited about.
Let's dive in.
1. La Compagnie "Blue Friday" – all-business madness
Verdict: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ AMAZING
If there's one Black Friday cash deal to care about, it's this.
La Compagnie = tiny boutique airline, all-business cabin, 76 lie-flat seats, no economy, flying between New York (EWR) and Europe.

La Compagnie business class
Blue Friday highlights:
Roughly $2,400 roundtrip EWR → Paris or Milan
Roughly $2,700 roundtrip EWR → Nice
Travel: Dec 1, 2025 – May 31, 2026
And the crazy part from recent searches ex-Europe:
Milan (MXP) ⇄ New York (EWR) in La Compagnie business for about $1,680 roundtrip
Paris (ORY) ⇄ New York (EWR) in La Compagnie business also around $1,680 roundtrip
That's all-business pricing that sometimes isn't far off what legacy airlines charge for economy.
Who should jump on this?
Live near Newark? This is basically a "book now, think later" level deal
In Europe? Those ~$1,700 Paris/Milan ↔ NYC fares are bonkers for a lie-flat transatlantic return
Why it's AMAZING: You're getting a full lie-flat business experience on a boutique carrier for less than what most airlines charge for premium economy on the same routes. This is the standout deal of Black Friday.
2. TAP Air Portugal "Black FLYday" – cheap business ex-Europe
Verdict: ⭐️⭐️ GREAT
TAP is the opposite of flashy, but their Black Friday business-class prices are quietly lethal.
Long-haul business like London → New York from roughly $1,732 return on selected dates
Travel window roughly Jan–May 2026 on many routes
You get a full lie-flat seat, decent food, and a Lisbon stop if you want to make it a two-city trip

TAP A330neo business class cabin looks great IMO
Best for: Anyone in Europe who wants to cross the Atlantic in business without emptying their savings, and doesn't mind a stop in Lisbon (I love that city! If you've never been there, I highly recommend you go!)
Why it's GREAT: TAP consistently offers some of the cheapest transatlantic business fares, and this Black Friday sale makes them even more attractive. The Lisbon connection can actually be a bonus—it's a beautiful city worth a stopover.
3. Qatar Airways – discounted Qsuite potential… kind of
Verdict: ⭐️ GOOD (but with an asterisk)
Qatar is advertising classic Black Friday promos, and on paper it sounds huge—Qsuite + discounts + bonus Avios. In reality, when I actually go hunting for fares, there aren’t many true stand-out business-class prices showing up.
The one genuinely good deal I’ve found so far is:
Doha → Manila → Doha for about $1,700 roundtrip in Qsuites on multiple 2026 dates.
Beyond that DOH–MNL fare, most of the “sale” pricing I’m seeing looks pretty normal, which makes the whole promo feel a bit… suspiciously underwhelming.
Why it’s still only “GOOD”:
Qsuite is top-tier, so $1,700 RT ex-Doha to Asia in that cabin is a legitimately strong deal.
But outside that specific routing, I’m not spotting the kind of across-the-board bargains the marketing implies.
Best for:
You’re already in or near Doha, can actually use the DOH–MNL route, and want a Qsuite trip at a decent price. Otherwise, I’d be cautious about assuming there’s a huge BF bargain hiding on your route just because the banner says “sale.”
4. Singapore Airlines – plan-ahead business on a top-tier product
Verdict: ⭐️⭐️ GREAT
Singapore doesn't do fireworks on price, but any discount on their business class is worth a look.
Sale window: Nov 26 – Dec 2, 2025
Business travel period: roughly Jul 16 – Oct 30, 2026
You won't see rock-bottom fares, but you will see:
Lower-than-usual business pricing on routes like Europe → Asia and US → Asia
On one of the most consistently excellent business products out there

Singapore Airlines business class
Why it's GREAT (upgraded from GOOD):
Singapore Airlines rarely discounts, so when they do, it's significant. If you're planning a big Asia trip for late 2026 and you value comfort + service, this is your window. The fact that they're offering discounts at all makes this worth serious consideration.
Best for: Anyone who already knows they want a "big Singapore Airlines trip" in the second half of 2026 and values consistent quality over hunting for the absolute cheapest fare.
5. Aer Lingus – business via Dublin for less
Verdict: ⭐️ GOOD
Aer Lingus has a Black Friday sale on transatlantic routes via Dublin. The splashy headlines are mostly economy, but business pricing is often quietly reduced too.
Think:
Discounted business fares US/Canada/UK ↔ Dublin, with easy onward hops to the rest of Europe
It's not "scream into the group chat" pricing, but:
You still get a lie-flat seat across the Atlantic
Earn Avios
And can use Dublin as a very chill gateway to Europe
Best for: Anyone who likes the idea of using Dublin as a European gateway and wants to earn Avios on the side.
6. Cathay Pacific – stackable discounts on premium cabins
Verdict: ⭐️ GOOD
Cathay's Black Friday offer is more "nice push" than "run, don't walk," but it's still useful:
Promo fares to Asia from North America and Europe
So if you spot a reasonable Cathay business fare to Hong Kong or beyond, it can turn a "hmm, maybe" into "ok, let's do it."
Best for: Anyone already eyeing a trip to Asia who loves Cathay's style and wants to shave a bit off the top.
How I'd prioritize these (if you're overwhelmed)
If you want a quick decision tree:
⭐️⭐️⭐️ AMAZING – move fast:
La Compagnie (all-business, ~$1,700 ex-Europe, ~$2,400 ex-US)
⭐️⭐️ GREAT – strong value if it fits your plans:
TAP Air Portugal (cheap long-haul business via Lisbon)
Qatar Airways (discounted Qsuite + Avios bonus in some markets)
Singapore Airlines (lock in premium trips for late 2026)
⭐️ GOOD – worth it in the right context:
Aer Lingus (business via Dublin, especially if you love Avios)
Cathay Pacific (top up an already decent Asia fare)
My honest take:
If you're anywhere near Newark or in Europe, La Compagnie is the no-brainer. It's all-business, it's ridiculously cheap, and the product is solid.
If you're looking at Asia or the Middle East, Qatar and Singapore are your best bets for premium experiences at discounted prices.
And if you're in Europe looking to cross the Atlantic without breaking the bank, TAP quietly offers some of the best value out there.
